HELLO WASHINGTON!

We haven't had a working computer for a while, so quite a bit has gone down since my last post. Maria and I graduated, I've gone on a road trip, and I GOT MY MISSION CALL!! Everyone in the family knows already ( they are the only ones I that read this thing ), but I am going to Everett Washington!

I had a really hard time not ripping the thing right out at the post office. In fact, I'm not sure why I didn't. . Everyone would have still found out, except without the odd looks from everyone in the room. Sounds nice. Either way, I am still super stoked! People keep asking me what my first thoughts were when I read where I was going. I feel a little awkward telling them it was a Chris Farley quote from the movie Black Sheep. . HELLO WASHINGTON!

cabin trip

I went up to the cabin with some of the guys over spring break. There was still about a foot and a half of snow up there, so we had to park up at the gate and walk down to the cabin, but it was still pretty rad.

Snowboarding

I went boarding for the first time since Christmas with kyle, travis, and jon o. I got some pictures, but i wish we would have gone up to the top of 9990 or some of the other runs that had the better views. We spent most of the time messing around in the terrain park. Girl's Choice

Girl's choice was yesterday. It was pretty fun. We went to the peak around noon, which was really crowded, then headed to Cyndi's house for dinner. We all made our own pizza's in different pans which was pretty rad, because i found that reses peanut butter pieces don't taste bad at all on your pizza. After that we headed to the dance, which was probably one of the funner ones I have been to since I am getting better at not worrying about looking stupid while I dance. That and the ladies in our group didn't feel the need to stay for the entire dance like usual! I have a bunch of pictures from the dance that I put down below.

Can't cook..

I went sledding again with a few of the guys. It was a really nice day, but i ended up landing on my nogin.. Other than that it was awesome!

Travis, Kyle, and Allie came over and we tried to cook the other day. It was fun, but we didn't have any meat for the spaghetti, and we somehow managed to burn the pizza we had for backup, when all we had to do is put it in the oven. I will ask my mom to teach me how to cook for my mission!

Snow!

Treetown got a ton of snow this week! It was pretty rad, but it took forever to get snow shoveled. I am wondering if school would have been canceled had it not been a late start day.

We went sledding on friday. I think it was the first time that i had gone out and had some fun in the snow this winter other than snowboarding.

Jon o and I were the only ones that kept trying to make it all the way down the hill with two people on the same snow skate.

Matt, Jon o, and I were probably the only guys that didn't end up going on dates or something yesterday, so we got pretty bored, and eventually ended up at the top of the play place in McDonalds.. I haven't been up there for a few years.. haha Luckily there weren't any little kids in there.. We might have creeped some people out a little bit..

Well I am off to mission prep! It is going to be pretty rad!

First Post..

Yesterday was a good day as far as free food went. :- P (L-R) Ethan, Travis, Matt, Jon o, and I ended up getting free ice cream from mack's since amber's little sister was working. We then headed over to pizza plus claiming we were seeing which places were the coolest places in town. The owner's son john slapped down a free pizza on the counter, asking us what the best pizza place in town was. After that we headed down to subway where jon o was able to score us all free cookies and a sub for himself since he was pretty good friends with one of the girls that was working there. We were pretty full after that, so we called it quits and went to lauren's house to play guitar hero. :- D

This winter has been pretty sweet so far. I have only been snowboarding a few times, but there is still a good share of the season left.. Hopefully I will take my camera with me and get a few shots at the top of peak 5 or something, because the view up there is sweet! It is kind of weird thinking that this is my last winter at home before my mission. It's crazy that it is coming up that fast, but i am pretty stoked!



Jeffy, Julius, and Travis
